Getting to the pier
The boat departs from Kaigata 6, beside the Skarven Kro restaurant on the central waterfront. Aim to arrive a quarter of an hour early; the doors open at 18:45 and the lines are cast off at 19:00.
The first twenty minutes
Once everyone is aboard, the crew gives a short safety briefing and hands out welcome refreshments. It takes around 18 minutes, which is about as long as it takes to leave the harbour lights behind.
A starter at the first viewpoint
The catamaran slows at a viewpoint for the first tasting course. Expect roughly 40 minutes here, in the saloon, with panoramic windows all round.
Dinner at the quiet stop
The main course is served at a spot the crew calls its secret stop, chosen for darkness and shelter. This is the longest pause of the night, about an hour.
Dessert and the deck
Dessert comes at another viewpoint for around 40 minutes. If the guides see movement in the sky they will tell you; jackets on, and step outside.
The way home
The return leg brings you back to the same pier around 22:00. The order and the stops are guidance only, since the route changes with weather and conditions.
